1st news, China will levy export taxes on grains in 2008...there is just one week after China scrapped tax rebates for grain exports...That's to say, China want to compensate the effect of the inflation and  put a brake on such an upwards trend...But we know the inflation in the domestic market is a reflect of the foreign market price level, as the drought in Australia has dwindled the crops and made the price of wheat reached £200 per tonne, while in China it's only 2000CNY, no one can resist the great magnet...conclusion, after house, petrol, job, we'll loose our foods in sequence.
